Created by a large limestone deposit millions of years ago, Drummond Island, or the "Rock" in local vernacular, is the largest fresh water island in the United States and the second largest fresh water island in the world.

With over 150 miles of shoreline and 87,000 acres of forest, fields and wetlands there is a little something for everyone to do while visiting Drummond Island. Boating, jeeping, biking, hiking, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing are just a few of the activities you will enjoy while taking in the serene and natural beauty of our diverse geographic landscape.
